HRO boom gates in pit lane

Why are the 6 HRT/K-mart/TB cars aloud to have 3 boom gates in pit lane???? If Tega have come out and publicly said they are running 6 cars under one team, then they should have one boom gate between the 6 cars!!! Just in the same way FPR only have one boom gate for 3 cars!!!. How are HRO getting around this rule & why have FPR not done the same???

They are each different franchise licence sets, so are allowed to have different pit booms

JFR, HRT & PWR all run separately from a franchise point of view......

And the FPR single boom thing is bloody stupid

With all respect to Ford (as I'm a ford man), but how dum can they be!!!!

Ford really need to start winning off the track before they can win on the track.

Surely, FPR could have thought of this when setting up the team, considering only 2 cars are running under the old GSR franchise & the 3rd car under the old Rod Nash one.... Plus Craig's car has a completely different paint livery to the other 2 with a different sponsor??? Why or why did they no follow a HRO style struture I'll never know.. I can see big trouble in pit line for FPR this year!!!!

Hey GTR, we have spoken a few times on e-mails.. I've finaly registered as a member!!!!

Heya Joe, welcome to the world of instantaneous feedback

The FPV stucture is stupid franchise wise, having 3 franchise slots in the eyes of TEGA means that if all 3 cars test at once, they lose 2 testing days at a time

I get the feeling the 3rd car may drop off for 2004

The way I understand it, the 6 cars have 8 test days in total!! Which will be assigned no doubt to Skaife

I was thinking about single car teams you know, can you imagine if Skaife ran as a single car, since he single handedly determines development direction, he would be as strong as he is now, with a team distracted by nothing else but him...

If HRO add a team per season to their line up as has been the case in the last 2, by 2007 they will own half the field

Maybe they should run all the Holdens, and FPV all the Fords

TWR Australia/Holden Racing Team were found to be in breach of Pit Lane Safety Rules D3.1 and A10.1.4.3 - fined $10,000. (Standing on pitwall)

From what I can make out they were standing on the pit wall cheering him on as he crossed the line for Sunday's race ?
