minicross, no sorry, i race in Camso V8. Al, absolutly, i think the scsa should do a road course.

I have nothing against road courses Al.

The issue is what the other teams want - and they are pretty well committed to big oval racing, which is why small oval's won't figure. However, had Rockingham not committed to the series for next year, there was a movement to keep the SCSA alive, and if that meant fitting the road course conversion kits to them, and running at Brands/Snet/etc... then so be it.

Rockingham have committed to the series, plus there is talk of trying to find funding to pay for the series to run at Eurospeedway again, once, maybe twice, next year. There are lots of things going on behind the scenes, some things I know about, some I don't, so I'll keep my trap shut on that to not jeapordise any negotiations, or build up hopes that may be dashed (even if some of those hopes are my own!)

As for Camso - they run rules closer to the "Late Model" rules that many "speedways" in the US, and they keep the costs down too.
It's a shame that a Camso rookie test doesn't carry any weight with SCSA, as I'd be on the ferry tomorrow!!

There lies another saga - Rookie Training - which has the MSA to blame as much as anyone else.
