Franchitti's comeback short lived
Dario Franchitti has decided to have surgey on his back, which will cause him to miss the final 10 races this year. Personally, I'm gutted. He did such a great job at Pikes Peak... However, it's better he gets it done now and avoid problems in the future.

Thats a shame. He had a good outing in Colorado as well. But he should be ready to go next year. Maybe Herta will replace him for the rest of the year.

I'm amazed that the team has supported Dario. Professional athletes have a commitment not to put themselves in danger the way Dario did on his mountain bike. This has cost the team any chance of having 2 cars finish in championship contention. I know insurance will help, but Dario should be held personally responsible.

I guess its for the best , I mean he came back did a great job but maybe the pain was just to much and he thought this was the best way.
hopefully we havent seen the last of Dario. as for a replacement , maybe Herta but who knows. |
