24thunder should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Time for Robbie Loomis to go as CC of the #24?

I have heard several Jeff Gordon fans mention the sacking of Robbie Loomis lately, due to sub-par performance in some events.
Personally,I'm in agreement with replacing Robbie as the CC of the #24.What are Ur opinions?

I don't think the problem is the crew chief.

Gordon seems to struggle if he is in the midfield with lots of cars around him. The parity in todays nascar means that you can't run in the top 3 all day and win the race. At some point your car will struggle a bit and you have to fight to get back to the front of the field again. IMO this is where the problem lies.

There's a great look at this equation. We hear nowadays about a car that can be great up front(clean air),later, for whatever reason(s)that same car is in heavy traffic & all of a sudden it's driver's fighting like mad just to maintain position, supposedly because this car was set up for clean air, thus has the wrong set-up under Him when the driver gets in "dirty air".
I guess this wont go away till the aerodynamics quits being the focal point of race teams.

This is certainly true. Ryan Newman is a great example of this. He pulls away from the field when out front but has struggled when in the pack.
He has been involved in more than his fair share of accidents(through frustration when his car doesn't work in traffic??) this year and has also taken a few drivers out of the race(Stewart last week for instance)

I think Loomis and Gordon are getting on fine together... Gordon's finishes haven't really shown how well that team has been running. They are pretty much in contention everywhere, but wrecks, bad luck, and mistakes by driver and team have cost them... but the 24 guys are just as capable of ripping off 7 wins in a year as the 12 car, IMO...

I hope ur right there,I'm not counting the mechanical problems or when Jeff gets punted by other drivers, that's just racing bad luck IMO,but when the #24 gets some adjustments & gets back on track & starts going backwards, after being a very stout car previously,or the #24 runs out of gas(twice),then I start questioning the CC as those are usually His decisions & resposibility,JMO.
