billaboy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1993 Season on Speed Channel

Anyone notice the pit crews were wearing shorts and short sleve shirts! That was wild. The cars were so much cooler then, well besides Footwork and that goofy rear wing that was bigger that the whole car! Think Senna would still be racing today?

The pitstops were great back then weren't they? No speed limiters, 5 second stops, work being carried out by people rather than the space aliens we see in the pits today... And most important, the pit stops weren't the centrepiece of the race and the only point at which changes of order occured!

It's amazing now to remember that people criticised F1 back then for being dull...

thats right.,having watched all the 1993 season again recently , it surprising how good it really was back then.

I think in 93 , Senna done a pitstop in one of the races in 4.5 seconds !!

wow.

It's so much better to watch. Wide, slick adorned cars, incredible engine noises and tracks with a bit of danger and overtaking opportunities! Class.

Been watching the 1993 review tape lately. Despite TC and paddle shift, the races were brutally fought out between Senna and Prost. The difference?

Well, I think we know...
