2007 Winton Calendar

Here is the official calendar for Winton's 2007 Officials and includes events at Calder & the AMRS at AIR. I was going to post it on the Marshals Forum but it could be useful for the general Australian members so I put it here instead as the marshals look here as well.

mmmmmmmm lets see how pigheaded CAMS will be and see if they allocate other meetings on the same dates.....bet u it happens!!!!!!

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
hasnt the CAMS calender been announced prior to this thread

Now compare my original calendar with Peck's list and you'll notice the one I Bolded in the quote above isn't on the Winton list, I've checked and it isn't a typo either.

And by the way Peck, that's only the National series list, there is a Victorian State Race Series which hasn't announced it's dates officially as yet.

...but the draft is out and there are no clashes between either of the Vic bodies. Indeed, as far as I can remember there has never been a clash of dates between the two bodies...

The only clash I can see is AMRS at AIM and VSCRS at Sandown which are not really in competition with each other.

The problem is when they put similar series rounds within a week or two of the opposing series making it difficult for the competitors.

I can understand if Sandown events are programmed a bit close as the car racing dates are set in concrete around the 4 legged stuff held there which makes things difficult at times.

The National Series could offer them another date but It will need to be well away from the V8's for it to be any good to try to attract spectators & corporate in numbers remembering the A7CC Historics are on the weekend following the V8's next year
