Liz, your little shot at Brian is bad form, inappropriate and flat off-target. It was CART's attorneys, in court, who said the St. Pete race was canceled. Not Brian. If it wasn't, it's still hung up in Begley's lawsuit. Not Brian's.

Boots, I posted it so we all had something to look forward to....the beginning of the 2004 CART season. So I did consider this to be a "joyful" thread.....it's not the fans fault that OWRS postponed the St. Pete race! Let's remember why they postponed the race in the first place.....to gain control of CART's assets and give teams more time to get ready for the season.

P.S. Now we just need to find a similar website that has a countdown for Long Beach.

It was a joyful thread originally, but clealy now very outdated and no longer true. The wait until Long Beach will be interminable, especially as there's every reason to expect an impressive grid, but you're right that it's for the best.
