Champ Car Fantasy Racing Grid

Last season ten Ten-Tenthers had a mini-grid of Fantasy F1 Racing Teams and we had a lot of fun at it. Any interest in doing the same thing for Champ Cars? The F1 thread is giong to run the F1 Fantasy Team this year and have a prize at the end. I thought it would be fun to do something like that here.

This is my idea:

Everyone chooses two pilots, one chassis, one engine, and a name for their team. Points will be awarded the same as in the Champ Car races themselves; there will also be points for making up places on the grid (as long as the car finishes) and for both cars finishing in the top five; points would be lost for being the first car to retire or for both cars or both pilots retiring. Extra ten points if your pilot wins the Championship. Prize to be named later - possibly a 10-Tenths cap or Champ Car season highlight video.

What do you think? If there's interest in this we should choose our teams soon.

Press Release:

After last year's success (finishing 2nd in 10 Tenths Fantasy Formula 1 Championship), Tulip Racing has decided to expand their Racing activities to Champ Cars.

As a result of that, Tulip Racing will be split into 2 divisions:
Tulip Formula One Racing and Tulip Champ Car Racing.

Tulip Formula One Racing will announce their lineup within a couple of weeks.

Tulip Champ Car Racing will consist of:

driver 1: Gil de Ferran
driver 2: Bruno Junqueira
car: Reynard
engine: Honda

Team Penske Babe announces that they have signed as a primary sponsor Mrs. Fields Pies. This contract was signed after intensive negotiations and a tour of the factory with lots of free samples.
