Top Hat Chimay results
Hi all,
For those of you who are interested, I've just posted the results from Chimay on the Top Hat website. http://www.tophatracing.co.uk Also, if oyu check out the main news page, you will notice that there two places have become available for the Nurburgring Marathon in August. thankyou Peter . . .and James for posting them . . . .if it hadn't been for a lengthly smoke stop ( not a fag . . .the exhaust snapped off) I think we could have had our forst podium !

Still it was a good show Zefarelli, even with a not that OK car.
Isn't Chimay a frightening place? Where I watched your race, there was a gap in the armco (that's ok), but no protection for the next row of the armco (and that is not so ok). |

certainly soemwhere to be treated with some respect ( unless you want to stack your car!) it took me a while to build up to flat out blind bends, and it certainly punished scruffy driving, and heavy kerb use, it amazes me some people persist in driving that way when they know the car will break !

we went for drive around on the MOnday morning, not sure how much of the old circuit we took in
it was quite funny doing the chicanes towing a trailer !!! |

If you went right at the roundabout, just after the first right turn, to the next village (via a quick lefthander in the fields) turned right in the middle of that village and immediately right again and went past a chapel and onto the new track, you made it.
If not, do try again next time. |

we stayed just past there, so we did most of it, will do the lot next year !
