Probably. Maybe someone more local though? Would be good to have a Mexican driver at the Mexican race.

I *think* JAS would prefer an experienced driver, Gio certainly had a positive effect on the whole team at Curitaba, another similar step in performance could be very useful

It's a real shame, because many of the best guys in this series even when they are very good road racers and could make something good in a touring car, have their efforts are focused on step into NASCAR Example 1: Jorge Goeters, several times Mustang series champ (like trans-am cars), good performances on NASCAR Bush Road-Course races, failed attemps this year in non circuits NASCAR Bush races Example 2: Antonio Perez, someone that many mexican fans use to think that he could be along with Salvador Duran trying to step into the highest open wheel series, but...he change his mind... Example 3: German Quiroga, he start on club racing formats and then in semi amateur touring car series here, race on Mustang series and last year almost get the Mexican Formula Renault Championship, now racing...stock cars... I'm betting that the reason given last time was just an excuse for not having the sponsorship sorted.

I'm suprised by his move. I don't think he'll get another seat that easily.

Well, looks like Corthals has overcome is fear of flying - or his boats turned up - as he'll be back in the JAS Honda car for Mexico.

Looks like everyone was on random! Farfus, Coronel, d'Aste!...who'd even guess that.
