Keith Wiggin's on Herdez's future plans
This is just off of Cart.com, and there is a lot of good information as to where this team(and possibly others) is headed. What it does state for sure is that Herdez will be running 2 cars in 2003, but they will not be running a second car at Mexico this year.
Anyway, it's worth a read even if you're not a big Herdez fan, it sheds some light on the dynamics of a team in our sport: http://www.cart.com/News/Article.asp?ID=4769 Last edited by Jay; 28 Sep 2002 at 15:42. |

Interesting article. Them running a second car being a nearly sure thing is good to hear. I especially am glad to hear that they are trying hard to get Roberto Moreno. He's a class driver. More important, I would think he would have a good influence on Mario Domenguez. A one car team running a rookie is a difficult proposition at best. Roberto could bring the wisdom and maturity (not meaning his advanced age... ) to the team. It may be what the team and Mario need to shine. Plus I would like to see Roberto back in the cockpit.

Very interesting stuff! I echo the sentiments about Moreno; he's a man who can fit into any team and he can explain to Dominguez a good many things that a young driver needs to learn from an experienced taemmate.
Plus I simply like Moreno and want to see him back behind the wheel again! |

If Herdez get Moreno, they have a new fan in me (and obviously Liz as well)
The man is a living legend and proof that the simple love of the sport is enough to see you through. I hope he does get a ride for 2003. He is more than deserving of one. |

Chips and Salsa is a necessity for watching American football.
Herdez salsa is less than $1 a can and goes great with Corona. Thanks Herdez. |
