SLIPPY DIFF have you got a touring car race around Auckland harbour. My family live in Castor Bay, and told me something was happening?
We are english, and I visited New Zealand, it is the BEST place on earth.

Rayzor, the race was stopped by our short sighted council and traffic hitlers.

At this stage we have no replacement event signed off to ensure we continue to get V8Supercars here ech year.

Just had a proper read through "Sniff Petrol".

It is a lot funnier than my initial dismissive attitude towards it made me think.

Absolutely.

I assume the team will be Red Bull, rather than Williams or Jordan.

He was asked "Where will you be next year".

He replied "On the grid in Formula One, there's a few details to finalise before we can say anything".

Good job the site's back in time to discuss this stuff, isn't it?

Considering some of the comments Red Bull have been making in the last week, I ssupect that is where he'll be. It's hard to know whether DC will benefit from staying involved in F1 for another year or 2, but I think Red Bull will have got the right man leading the team.

It may of course give him a fresh lease of life. Which would be good.

It's just watching him during the Race of champions stuff, he appeared to be a man who's not enjoying racing that much. He just didn't seem right, out of sorts.

He's been like this since 2003 and it has got gradually worse. I really don't feel that another year or two in F1 will benefit him, he'll just further smear his reputation which was once quite solid.

Good luck to DC,the man and the racer should be in F1 next year.

The last two years have been disappointing for him.

He deserves to find a bit of joy in racing again, and maybe another year or two at another team might do it.

Two question's........how long's the contract,and does Dubai F1 2006 figure in his long-term plans.

Well,three questions.........why didn't Williams sign him for a year.
