Terry Scannell should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BARC Snet 23rd /24th Sept

Once again another great Barc Snet meeting - Many thanks to the Classic Touring Car Racing Club for some excellent racing and some superb cars. Also for the Breakfast vouchers on both days which were greatly appreciated.

Good mix of races with the Classic FF & FF2000's, Radicals, Formula Women and the Pickups with plenty of good clean competitive racing.

16 practice sessions and 17 races over the weekend and nice early finishes both days, well done to all the organising team Grant, Peter, Mike and all in Race Control for keeping it all flowing over the weekend and to everyone around the circuit for the quick clear ups etc.

Thanks also to my crew, Jerry, Doug, Trish, Jeremy & Simon for all your excellent work throughout the weekend.

Terry

After problems with mutual trust between local marshals and BARC a few years ago, much work has been done on both sides since to get things back to normal.
This meeting suggest it's even better than that. Marshal numbers significantly up. Better races. Stops given quickly. Etc etc

This meeting was one of the best. Shortage of clerks didn't hamper anything and everyone working as a team from top to bottom gave us a slick operation and early finish both days (before 5 on Sunday)
Thanks to everyone over the last couple of years for turning it around and on the days for such a good weekend. Especially to Mike Whitney for taking over the chief marshal role at a difficult time and working hard on it since.

Thanks to all the marshals and officials for a good weekend.

We were surprised to get so many breakfast vouchers returned on the Sunday. Did everyone who wanted breakfast get a CTCRC voucher?
