bison69 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

This will be exciting!!

Murph, Rick Kelly, Owen Kelly, Bargs and J.Richards all getting down and dirty in the sprinters. I wonder who will be fastest????

My bet is on Murph.

It will be interesting to see how they handle having to go fast sideways on dirt as opposed to sideways being slow on the bitumen.

And will CAMS allow these infidels to race in an "unsanctioned" event?

Past "wars" between Speedway Peak Bodies and CAMS are well documented.

6 years ago, when Sprintcars first hit the ClayWay at Bacchus Marsh, Max Dumnsey was clocked on radar doing 212 Kph dwn the front straight, with a turn in speed into Turn 1 of 170 odd, Kph. ON CLAY.
Imagine how much faster they will be now, with 6 years of engine development.

Avalon is certainly slower than that, but speeds of 140 - 160 Kph are a regular occurance

Lets see Murph have a sook if he 'accidently' gets fed a wheel, although with only 3 of them on the track at once, I'd have to suggest that the rules will be to stay out of trouble.

(gee I hope the get given the basic instruction, of 'pull your tongue in if you roll over')
Imaging Mr Potato Head sptheaking with a lispth, cos he bit the end off his tongue.

A lispth & a Kiwi accent, man it would be the end of his media career for sure.

Gee, that was some time ago. Supercar drivers that I've seen have a go in Sprintcars over the past ten years include Wayne Gardner, Jason Bright, Russell Ingall, Larry Perkins, Steven Richards and Greg Murphy. No problem. Sprintcar races shown on TV have also had Allan Moffat commentating, and Neil Crompton doing segments from the pits.

Paul Dumbrell has been running a Sports Sedan & Speedcar for a few years.

In fact he qualified his Sport Sedan at the Island Magic event at PI a few weeks ago on the Saturday arvo, headed out to Avalon and ended up rolling his speedcar at Turn 3 then ran at PI on the Sunday.
