Oh Dear

Just some of my general thoughts on the goings on of AVESCO and TC lately;

- Opening of the new AVESCO "World Headquarters".....come on, last time i checked there weren't any other AVESCO related V8 championships in the world.

- TC saying that we welcome F1, WRC, MotoGP etc..into our country, why can't we do the same elsewhere, well they are 'World Championships', V8s are an overhyped domestic championship.

- V8Supercar Championship Series Presented by VB. Why not just simplify it and call it the VB Championship Series, or the VB ATCC. What happened to his two 'platform sponsers' going to invest multi million dollars of sponsership into the championship?

I thought the same about the 'World' AVESCO Headquarters too. Bit of a joke really.
Pity AVESCO didn't welcome Procar as well and not started up another one make series admittedly for rich boys but still another one make series. Those cars should be in NC.
As for the V8 championship presented by VB. What he is saying they are sponsoring the series but not giving AVESCO as much money as it wants to call it the VB V8 Supercar Championship

I am expecting to see a new share holder in SEL, I can just hear Tony saying "We have a new invester from the Middle East, He has great people and management skills and has just left his last job that he held for 30 years. Any problems with AVESCO can now be refered to Mr S Hussien"

This was the first time that I had seen TC in action. I could not believe the way that he would not discuss anything with the guys there. He was too busy trying to make smart-a**e remarks.

What a jerk

Everyones Critical of an organisation and a man trying his best to make our category better.

Unless you are in a better position, Financially and have better qualifications, unless you can do a better job than TC, AVESCO or TEGA ??? DONT COMPLAIN THEN!!!!!!!!!

Obviously you haven't been on the receiving end of AVESCO's master plan and been affected by their decisions, have you?

Is it any wonder the ACCC have (and I believe still are) investigating AVESCO over their stand over tactics (amongst other things...)

Try for once to be positive and not negative and maybe more people will listen.

There are a lot of people that could do a better job than TC and one of them would be "colinbond" he has been a driver, a mechanic and an organiser of race meetings.

TC is not improving the Sport, he is improving the Show.

I can't think of the exact phrase to put here but it has something to do with being unable to grow a fruit vine on a backyard structure.

But they have the "monopoly" (am I allowed to say that) so there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I had a good laugh when i read the World Headquarter article too, going to China doesn't make it a World Championship. Someone should tell TC that his name is Tony Cochrane & not Bernie Ecclestone.

TC goes on about how HE wants to improve the series but want listen when the subget of Bathurst comes up.
The traditional race has always been the grand final in the series and like Greg Murphy said he would rather have hez name on the trophy than the points.

We the fans should be able to vote and get rid of him.

Lets put someone that is passionate about the sport and undrestands what the drivers and the fans would like.

He annoys my wife like Bob Carr she says he is a two bag job.
Uglyier than a hat full of r souls.

We have,
The best series of its type in the world
The most profitable series of its type in the world
and unfortunately the most immature uneducated and egotisticle bunch of ar....... in the world. If you can do better get of your ass and have a go but how dare you sit here behind the anonimity of a computer screen ans voice opinion on a person or governing body that none of you are game to have a go at.
Get a job and you might see how the real world of corporate business works. Enjoy what you have instead of being f..... wingers.
