Is there a BELCAR website? I'd like to see who's entering that on a regular basis this year, and in what cars. I also wonder about which circuits they visit too.

Here is the Belcar website, loads of info on that.

Finally a SRT win. They've proven to be fast many many times already, and now they finally got their well deserved win. Congratulations Goossens, Hart & Team.

Three Finns again on the series, the veteran Pertti Kuismanen with his own Viper, then Markus Palttala, PSI Motorsport Porsche 996, and Risto Virtanen, ERG Marcos LM 600, nice. (But I really would like to see at least one of them on FIA GT)

That's a pretty nice lineup! Haven't seen a Stealth racing in a long time. Has my fav ever GT car too, Marcos LM600 - is this series growing? As in, is this season looking like it's best yet, or has there been even better before? Might have to stroll (well, take the long journey) to Brands and have a peek.

Although it is in Dutch, a lot of pics in these two threads:
http://forum.depaddock.net/showthrea...threadid=10300
http://forum.depaddock.net/showthrea...threadid=10285

The LM600 of ERG Motorsport didn't race this weekend. A problem during a free practice session on thursday/friday caused a lack of spare-parts. The LM600 of Euser is expected for a few races later this year.

The Stealth didn't race either, reason was some damage caused by an accident during practice on Saturday.

To be honest, the 2004 was its best season yet. I have my doubts that 2005 will be better.

last year was pretty good, with 4 vipers, a Jaguar Silhouette, an ex-BTCC ex-Rydell Volvo (but that only raced for 2 races, got a podium though), and guest appearances by the BMW GTR's (and also the Zwaan's racing Viper in the 24hrs of Zolder).

this year promises to turn out great too, but for the first race there were a lot of cars that didn't make it to the grid.

Hi
Do you or anyone else know what happened to the 2 Stealth's in the Belcar at Zolder at the weekend? They appeared not to be on the classifieds on the belcar.com site...
thanks

Only 1 Stealth was to take the start... but that crashed off near the end of qualifying and didn't take no further part.

I'm just pleased someone used more than 1 or 2 colours on a Corvette... don't see that very often lol. What engine do they have in the Stealth cars? They're unique machines so it's nice to see them (when they're not crashing in practice sessions)

Hello,

I shoot some pictures there during that race. The fantastic C5-R finally won one race in Belgium

Please find some samples hereafter:

I updated my web site with more than 150 pics on http://www.racepictures.be.
Comments are, of course, always welcome.

Comments : your pics are just superb, Olivier ! What's the #15 car ? The front look like a bit like a 550, but not the rear...

Fab, the #15 car is a highly developed Marcos Mantis - it's so highly developed it has to run in the top class (GTA) as it would be too costly to bring it back down to original spec (which can run in the 2nd class GTB)

Its a solid runner though, so if there is car failures infront, expect that Marcos to be near the front by the end.

Yep, the rear looks like a Marcos, but the front confused me... thanks for that, Duff & Jag !

Where does it come from? Some relatives of mine used to run a Mantis and a Mantara in Belcar, yellow cars sponsored by Halls & Clubs (Clubber). I lost touch with them about 5 years ago, don't remember much about them except they always screwed up, so this #15 probably has nothing to do with them.

I love black & yellow liveries (Dewalt, especially : the 2002' Morgan, the 2003' TVRs). this Eurotech painting really fits the car, IMHO...

It is indeed a really beautiful looking car and colour scheme... Wish we could get a much-developed Marcos Mantis in BGT! Would spice a few things up

This car is owned by Wim Noorman. This Dutchman is owner of the Eurotech Group (no links with the British GT team). This company is (or was?) responsible for building racing versions of the Marcos cars. See also: www.eurotechracing.nl

EDIT: Here you find several video's of the race and practice.
