verdict on new Duratec 16v 1600 F.ford motor

what are your thoughts about the move from the old 1800cc Zetec to the new 1600 duratec motor in Formula Ford?........so is everyone eager to go and update their zetec cars or what?.......does anyone know what the new duratec motor weighs and how much power it makes?........what will be the benefits over the zetec?........

JNWRF01 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Power is about the same, weight -30kgs, smaller & more cpmpact should equal better handling....however engine is slightly longer - so expensive conversion kits. I don;t think you'll see many duratecs until next season (ie 07) when the new cars from VD, Mygale, Spirit etc etc come in....
