I am a big fan of Dome, I hope they can build a client car that can be financed properly. This car will be missed at le mans, hope they will be there next year.

To me it just shows how capable DOME really is. If DOME could acquire a good a deal, they could really challenge the majority of teams.

It was very refreshing to read that story. I gained even more respect for this amazing company. I am really looking forward to any future challengers

Perhaps he was implying that if he got a huge chunk of cash, he could funnel that back to Dome. It would have to be a rather large chunk apparently though, since Lammers had more than just money issues with only Dome.

Probably a shakedown, the report says that the car has basically sat in the workshop ever since LM '08 without turning a wheel.

It was a test to measure the bench-mark in the 2008 regulation.
They plan to use a new, aerodynamic parts and the original traction controls, etc in next test.

They have new bits for the car that had been designed and built when they had prospective partners to run the car. I would think it prudent to at least run/test the car with those pieces to have current data on a chassis that they still wish to sell/lease. No?
