Because the entry remains as Northwest AMR. Just acquired by Heart of Racing. There has been no withdrawal. This isn't anything new. It has happened several times in the past.

Yeah I think it's a WEC thing beyond simply Le Mans reserve list. Mutually beneficial situation it seems like, given the abrupt timings.

Yep, Hardpoint gave theirs to Proton/Absolute last year, this is slightly different though as Heart of Racing are going to do the rest of the WEC, not just Le Mans.

Heart of Racing were WEC 1st reserve too and does keep an AMR toe in the water - so should help if going to a restricted list of manufacturers for GT3 class

Some interesting insights on the process of preparation, and how many cars has Caddy made?? If the single car team AXR has 3, and I think CGR has at least 4, that is a good number of chassis!

So pretty pre-2023 Jotaish as they come into view and allows for maximum panel changes after incidents.

Maybe separate designs would have stood out far more especially at speed and against other cars and backgrounds.

DSC race report says the tub is ok. Hopefully they have spares of every other part on the car.

Surely they must have a few spare tubs around in Germany or US. The testing soon was for one car and 6 drivers I thought.

Must be easier and much quicker to use a new tub and much more reassuring for drivers and team. Looked to be heavily damaged from side impact plus door off other side.

You’d think they would have some somewhere. Let’s hope so. Obviously a driver is likely to feel more comfortable in a tub he’s familiar with, but he also likes to feel safe. I would be surprised if they don’t replace it

A couple of safety cars at the right times would be all it takes for LMP2 Pro-Am to win LMP2 overall. There is no drop-off in the pro drivers across both classes.

I would not be surprised to see a few upsets, particularly in LMP2. It’s very closely matched in there
