Cadillac will use their IMSA car rather than the crashed Spa car. Going to be a busy time turning all that around.

Successful lobbying for a pre Le Mans platform change would take Pug and Glick even further out of the equation. My personal hope, based on what we've seen so far this season, was that Ferrari might be able to live with Toyota at Le Mans and make a race of it. Bringing the Caddies and Porkers further into the equation would certainly make things more interesting though. The joys of BOP and the politics which surround it.

But that discussion's for a different thread...

I think Ferrari will make a race of it. And Cadillac will be next best. The car looks very drivable, seems kind on its tyres compared to the Porsche, and isn't that far off the pace.

It was suggested earlier that an electrical power steering failure caused the crash. Not a nice place for it to happen.

And on top of that, Bourdais had another electrical (related) issues in free practice during last weekend's Laguna meeting, causing him to go off and park it in the tire barriers.

the only think i can find is the fire on the m6 yesterday that burnt out Lewis Hamiltons AMG one mercedes

Villeneuve is an absolute disgrace to motorsport. Likely the most undeserving champion in F1 history still trying to ride that "achievement" in 2023. Good riddance.
