Wet EC Who will it favour
A wet EC race? Who will it favour? With all the ingredients for a great weekends racing at the Creek,I ask the question if it is wet who will it favour??????? I reckon if CL has the new motor it will favour him as he is the best wet weather driver in V8 supertaxi at the moment.

Definitely Fords
They'll fill the first 5 positions, just to finish the year and championship off in style |

Greg Murphy, Steve Richards and Garth Tander are getting some good wet weather practice as we type. So's John Bowe. Mark Skaife seems to handle the wet OK pretty well too. I'm not certain about Marcos, but he should be OK.

Agree there Aarrgh8, I think if wet it will hurt Marcos, but I hope it won't cause I would love him to win it as he is the only one that deserves the title.

If it's wet, Skaife and Murph will shine. Just look at the New Zealand results, and Skaife drove well at Sandown with an ailing car whilst little Toddler hauled in Ambrose.
I'll tell you what it's like on Monday here, should reach you guys by Saturday |

Murphy and Skaife will shine in the wet, and if this years races are anything to go buy, Ambrose will struggle.

It'll favour Murph & Skaife, Ambrose will struggle & will decide that he can't overtake anyone & so for something different this week he'll just go around the track in Ingall's passenger seat & let him do all the work.

I think Wills & JRichards are pretty good in the wet - you only have to look back to Sandown to see their skills shine up behind Skaife. Murf and Lowndes should also do well in the wet.

If it's wet it will favour Skaife & Murph without a doubt, Skaife had a good run on the ice-rink at Sandown. Ambrose will struggle & will more than likely be contented to sit behind his team mate & let Ingall do all the work.

The guy with the greatest level of grip and therefore the most confidence in his car will shine through, who that will be is anyones guess, maybe Jason Richards will flog everyone.

Good news as the all so perfect weather people have picked a fine and hot weekend at the Creek, so hopefully on that it will favour the Fords, as everyone on this thread said if wet it will favour Holden

I wish it was wet, an hour or so in the sun yesterday, with me going out of my way to find shade has left me in a beetroot-like condition....
