Think: Helio.
Hope: Kenny.

I think the momentum has shifted in the championship battle. Helio's chances are looking very good now, I must say. Earlier in the season, I would have predicted Brack.

Helio of course. I'd like to see Gil repeat but it doesn't look likely at this point.

I think it will be Helio as well. Helio and Penske seem to be consistently fast on the road courses while Team Rahal does not seem to be able to sort out their Lolas for the road courses. I think the performance of Papis is a true reflection of the engineering depth of Team Rahal and Brack has been carrying the team on the ovals. I do think that Brack will be awesome for TCGR next year as they have the engineering depth on all circuits. Another reason Helio shoudl win is he seems to be having the most fun of all the drivers interviewed. He looks like he is truly enjoying his time with Penske and the level of equipment they provide.

My two cents.

Absolutely. I particularly noticed that during the interview with him yesterday. Lovely, lovely guy.

From the checkered flag at Fontana last year...
I knew. I just knew...
HELIO.
(He would have won last season if nobody had outscored him!)

Bryan Herta!!

Yeah Right. But seriously I would love to see Michael Andretti win the championship and the 500. Realistically, Helio is probably the best bet.

I think Helio will win the championship as the last races are mostly road courses, which he appears to have a distinct advantage on over the Lola Rahal machines.

I would really like to see fellow Antipodean Scott Dixon win the title as a rookie for PacWest. Firstly, it would be good to see another rookie take the title. And it would also be good for PacWest, who have really been in the dumps the past few years.

Helio will win. He and the Penske team are the most consistent combination of them all. They are fast on every type of track, and Helio is finishing races this year.

Can you imagine if he clinches it at Surfers Paradise? Bugger the fences, he'll climb the nearest skyscraper.

I'd love Dixon to win it though. His time will come.

I liked Gil for the longest time and i think he is probably to best, consitant driver, he doesnt win but those 2nd and 3rds add up. Helio is super, I like him because he has more flair, and actually likes to win...michael schumacher has won so many times he doesnt even celebrate...how boring....and well i hate to say but Gil isnt the most exciting person either...but i wish i could drive like him. Even when Franchitti won cleveland he was talking to the announcer like he jus finished a night at the Sizzler, no excitement at all. Maybe CART needs a crazy guy to climb fences to win.

EEEw, could we not talk about that German Fellow on this board?

Odd to think that until early in this year Champ Car pilots were fined for celebrating wins.

Paul Tracy will be good.
But, as always, at the Middle of season, He is guy in wrong time in a wrong place. Sad.
I think Kenny will take Championship.
