Looks like the event could be a real cracker, thats a pretty strong entry list, and with the touring car entry looking strong, as well as the Superbikes its making me think about perhaps making the trip to Macau one day. Lets hope Green can carry on his momentum.

Apparently not.
There was some talk McLaren are taking him to GP2 next year, but time will tell. |

Huh?
Danny Watts in a Dallara with Hitech/Renault? Interesting indeed. |

I'd say it is very much a provisional entry list at the moment. Interesting that both Adam Carroll and Fairuz Fauzy are back with Menu. Understand the reason is that Roly Vincini wouldn't take P1 Motorsport, which is a shame.

I enjoyed the Macau website's interesting entry list naming format... Nico R OSBERG, Nelson P IQUET, Jamie G REEN...
Just as well the Widow Twanky doesn't race in F3..., |

No Nicolas Lapierre? If he (contrary to the above entry) were to do the race and win Macau for the second time would that be a first?

Lapierre will skip Macau, but will race in Bahrain.
If he had entered and would have won...he would have been the first to do it twice. 2003 Nicolas LAPIERRE 2002 Tristan GOMMENDY 2001 Takuma SATO 2000 Andre COUTO 1999 Darren MANNING 1998 Peter DUMBRECK 1997 Soheil AYARI 1996 Ralph FIRMAN 1995 Ralf SCHUMACHER 1994 Sascha MAASEN 1993 Jorg MULLER 1992 Rickard RYDELL 1991 David COULTHARD 1990 Michael SCHUMACHER 1989 David BRABHAM 1988 Enrico BERTAGGIA 1987 Martin DONNELLY 1986 Andy WALLACE 1985 Mauricio GUGELMIN 1984 John NIELSEN 1983 Ayrton SENNA Last edited by Marcel ten Caat; 14 Oct 2004 at 18:33. |

That's a very impressive list, isn't it?
Even more impressive is to go the Museum in Macau, where they also list the drivers who have been on the podium or won one one of the races, but maybe not finished both e.g. Mika Hakkinen. |

I'm quite surprised that an eastern big team like Dome is not of the match; any leaks about it?

I heard Dome is not going to Macau this year due to the development of their next year's car. After the season is finished in Japan Dome is still going to be running Oliveira to develop the new car. But I think they would be so strong there, a shame for us who like to see more competition.

Not sure. From what I hear the operation in SudamF3 was bought out by Negrao's father this year.

hmm. to me, running a team under that sort of a name is a pretty good way of funding part of nelsinho's career...

True, but maybe the proceeds of the sale went in that direction instead. Sr wasn't exactly ever-present this year, was he?

i Agree 100% with what you say; after all we're talking about the most important venue of the year, at least in far East (but, I think, also worldwide) about F3. |
