SL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ref the 78 race.

There was no car 60 entered in the race. Haldi raced car 48 a 935/77 GpV with Muller and "Nico" and retired at 0400. Entered by Mecarillos cegocol Racing.
There was a car 60 in Q that failed to qualify, entered by the same team, this a 934t with a 3299cc t engine, it only managed 5 laps. thanks to an engine change followed by an oil leak. Sponsered by Cegecol, Haldi was not down to race it, the listed drivers were, DeLautour/Bleiny/Ennequin

That is the problem. It is so hard to trace the history of these cars and when you do you will often find out new contradictory information. If you look at the 930 770 0958 car of the Heimrath's , Starkey has the history of that car crossed with the 930 670 0171 car.....he is working on the third book and there will be many corrections as information comes in .
VZ... All his books have lots of mistakes, and yes I'm aware of the errors in the second edition, having been an owner of the first which obviously, had even more...

The first did have quite a few mistakes ! Still , I applaud Starkey for taking on such a task. The book is good because it has the information for all to see and thus stimulates the conversations and debates that lead to more accurate information.
Starkey told me a few weeks ago that he has sold out of the second book and has started a third edition.

I have some new information on my car. I recieved a reply to an email I sent to Jeurgen Barth . And he actually cleared up some early info on my car and confirmed it was first owned by Georg Loos and was not purchased by Haldi until after the 76 Le Mans. And infact he told me my car was the number 57 car that finished 2nd in class . I had seen the 0171 car attirbuted to Gelo/Loos early on in 76 before but was not sure if this was accurate. Does anyone have any info on this # 57 car that ran the 76 Le Mans?
Everyone has been very helpful and I appreciate it.

Thank you , Van

Well, the Pascal book says that the No.57 car was entered by the Gelo Racing team and driven by Hezemans and Schenken. It was dominating its class until a two and a half hour pitstop to rectify the transmission dropped it to second in class, 16th overall. Apologies if you know all this already.

In 1978 the car was sold to Enrique Molins who raced under the pseudonym of "Jamsal," . The car then ran in races in Central America's National Championship of Motoring and the North American IMSA series. By 81 this 934 was converted to 935 specs by GAACO the same people who built JLP III . Here is what the car looked like when it finished 10th Overall at the 6 Hours of Mosport in 1981..this is the race that the movie "Red Mist Stuff" with Brian Redman was filmed at.

and the 24 Hours of Daytona 8th place Overall
