Tyre Size
I am looking for the tyre sizes of the cars which raced in Le Mans last year. I know the sizes of the Michelin Porsche cars and the Dunlop Lolas. I have looked at the pages of the car manufactures, but they often just say 18" and nothing more. Does anyone of you have more informations?

Have you looked at the ACO rules?

I think I will find only the maximum dimensions of the rims in the rulebook. But I would like to know the "real" used tyre dimension on each car.

I would like to know that myself.
Back when Firestone was still Firestone, before the bean-counters took over and killed the company, Firestone was developing the LX class of tires, which were designed to be able to put a wider tire, on a restricted rim width size. Could this be done in the IMSA or is there a tire width max. Bob |
