Is that 5/6 rounds of rallycross or 5/6 rounds including sprints hillclibs etc?
Also where are the venues north, south or all over? |

I'd assume it was 5/6 rounds of rallycross and then other events on top of that (that's been the way it's worked up until now).

Minicross/Junior/Stockhatch options.
Having been dumped by the BRDA the above have he following good options which will help the demise of the BRDA.... Minicross and Stockhatch drivers have a new all rounders championship to compete in. They will also have a new clubmans rallycross series run over 5/6 events for minicross and stockhatch drivers. Juniors can compete in the RSS as part of "Junior Idol" in the Mini an a level playing field. The minicross and stockhatch drivers can compete in the RSS Plate as part of the RSS. All the above options are cheaper, will have better media and tv coverage and have organisations that fully support them as drivers. As for modified drivers then support the RSS in the supernational class. Better tv coverage and media, lower entry fee's and the opportunity to run along side the best in the UK and Europe. I know where I would compete!! |

Sorry to labour this, but as I understand it:
Minicross have been dumped from the BRDA championship (see earlier posts). Junior Minicross will run for this year in the BRDA but are to replaced (next year?) with a much more expensive new single make junior class. Stock Hatch will run for this year in the BRDA but the BRDA see no future for 'budget rallycross' in the BRDA series - essentially they want new / recently homologated machinery. Of course there would be no need for all this confusion if the BRDA consulted their members properly and announced changes officially on their website! That's why people are slightly annoyed...! |
