Gee whiz It grieves me to say it but Irishman Damien Falkner is clearly completely clueless on how a modern LMP factory team works. all that waffle about windscreen tearoffs - spare me. Thank God Jeremy Shaw is there with his seemmingy boundless knowedge. Me thinks Mark Cole should stick to the legends race commentary. A great race totally spoilt by inept amateur commentary. Pathetic...

Is anyone else recently having issues with the Fox stream listed above that has been so great until now?

Also looks like the henno stream switched to motors with commercials.

Anyone got details.

Unfortunately this stream stopped working:
http://www.crichd.tv/eurosport-1-hd-live-stream.php

All the others have buffer issues.

This seems to work great in VLC: http://sjc-uhls-proxy05.ustream.tv/w...2&group=iphone

FSGO has been great for me. Curious if the stream continues for the FS2 coverage or else I'll have to switch.

Figures the live soccer game on ES2 goes to penalties. Thankfully they decided to let ES1 stay with the race and not go to 24 minutes.

Excellent race, but poor coverage from fox who refused to show the race to half of the US. Not sure why they want to be so restricted on coverage but I guess that's the name of the game these days.

I found coverage in my ways and do have access to FSGo but just don't get Fox anymore. Maybe I never did.

Made the best of the streaming. Varsha was sort of ripping his own network on twitter. Calling it the "all sports network." lol

I thought a Kirby free Eurosport did quite well with their coms. Although being a mass broadcaster, with a remit to pump up the ratings, telling the audience how fantastic the racing was every two minutes did grate.

Sam Hancock was great at night and Jeremy Shaw did an excellent job as usual.

Well ,even specialist RLM big it up a lot. It does grate, as I fancy myself as the judge of whether I am enjoying something or not.
They have to fill the time an cater for newbies and encourage, but I do agree sometimes it is laid on too thick and too often.
Perhaps some have to have it confirmed that they are watching something good and giving a good time?

Very frustrating, but I guess its the price we pay for having the whole race live on TV, and not just an internet feed.
After watching the first 45 minutes I got so annoyed by the adverts that I started to note them down. From 15:45 to 19:00 UK time there were 14 ad breaks! According to Ofcom's rules, you are only allowed 9 breaks for those 190+ mins - 6 for 125 min, plus 3 more for each of the extra 20 mins. I'm not one to complain to Ofcom, but...

So as long as you have no more than 9 minutes of adverts per hour (12 minutes in peak time) then you can have as many breaks as you like. This is how broadcasters can afford to show tennis or cricket, where natural breaks in play don't run for four minutes at a time.

Jeremy Shaw did Truswell as he was there on Eurosport booth for 24 hours straight with minimal non on air moments. Good effort! The other UK people were doing the usual nonsense mistakes in rapid fashion, but I filtered it through. Marc Cole was probably at his worst this year.

One of the first things I did when I got home was download the entire race to make sure I have a lasting copy. Loads of great Le Mans coverage has been pulled from YouTube in the last few years, so there's no guarantee you can watch it. Especially when the ACO don't seem to have discovered 'on-demand'.
