I'll repeat what someone else already said... there have been a lot of comings together this year... the common denominator is Kristensen - he always seems to be involved...

He does seem to have a bit of a nack of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, doesn't he ?

I watched it today after returning from holiday and to be perfectly honest I thought it was good Kristensen fell off because he is always there or thereabouts if there's an accident...how he survived his shifts of 24 hours at LeMans without hitting someone I'll never know!

I'm just fuming because they showed the race at the precise time I was leaving for work (and I didn't think to start the video...) AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

Hi Jason - welcome aboard
I've finally got round to having a look at the video this evening, and I reckon you had the outside line and Kristensen the inside, and once he drifted out wide, there was nowhere for you to go. Was that about your view of the incident, or are you sworn to secrecy?? |

Hi Jason - welcome to Ten-Tenths.
Hubby puts it as a "Nice little corner pocket shot!" I must admit I don't like the bloke. Gives a lot but won't take any. (Kristensen that is not my hubby) |

I thought I would just copy this in from Jasons own web site.
Now lets try and put the record straight. 1. The incident at Donington between Tom and myself was judged by the highest judicial people, namely the MSA Stewards. They found the incident was started by Tom on the entry to Redgate and with video evidence rulled that the contact on the exit was avoidable by the aggressor Tom. Case dismissed. 2. Brands incident - Tom was on the outside of Druids, I on the inside. Tom had the inside line for Graham Hill and would have won the corner if he kept to the left, I on the other hand was holding my line, mid circuit and therefore trying to comprimise Toms entry to Graham Hill, with a view to gaining an advantage on the exit, once again Tom moved over onto my line causing contact, and putting himself out of the race. No action was taken by the Judicial people after reviewing video evidence. 3. If there was blame at Brands you can be sure TOCA would be taking action, bearing in mind TOCA want to clean up the driving standards. 4. Someone mentioned that a star like Aiello would not resort to such poor driving standards, well let me take you back to Brands 99 and more infamously Knockhill 99, were he was disqualified for removing one Mr Plato with 2 laps to go. Short memory eh 5. The BTCC is hard aggressive racing and nobody intentionally removes other drivers from races, however some contact is inevitable. 6. We have all had our fair share of offs over the years, and whilst it is hard to stomach at the time one must be grown up enough to accept the facts. 7. Yes I do give out my fair share of aggression, but so do all the others. Surely you are not blind because of your support for drivers. I do understand and welcome you all to have your own opinions, but please all bear in mind the facts. I look forward to reading. Sincerely, Jason Plato |

My mate Tom reckons you don't know where the brake pedal is !
Only kiddin JP, you can punt 'em off all day long if it gives Vauxhall the Championship.... P.S. I think you need to aim for the yellow and blue cars a bit more, particularly the one with Menu on the windows. |

Following on from what Invader said, Menu on the windows would be good, I remember a similar thing happening at Thruxton and I started cheering madly only to discover that the bloke next to me was holding a Swiss flag and looking a bit angry, so I shut up.
Reid too, he needs a good punt or two! |

There seems to have been less cries of 'Muller' since JP arrived on the scene
I believe Craig Antill did confirm it was the real JP - let's hope he comes back soon. |

Jason, whatever you do is alright by me.
See from your profile that you're a fan of Driven Not a bad show. Excellent race today, by the way, see you at Silverstone. |

Welcome to Ten-Tenths, siouxie - hope you enjoy your stay..
Jason - nice to talk to you on Saturday after qualifying, and we enjoyed your gallant efforts in the feature race, especially when you helped Menu through Knickerbrook.. You had a lot of supporters up there on the bank |

I always enjoy an "accidental nudge" especially when it's Menu.

... which is why I thought JP's move for second in the Feature Race last night at Silverstone was waaaayy too clean for my liking. If only he'd given the Mondeo a helping hand into the barrier at some stage of the final lap...
