Surely the Storm has run at Le Mans itself on several occasions?

Lister Storm LMP1 did race at Le Mans last month.
They won't race at the Nürburgring but will most probably be back in Donington.

the Lister Storm GT1 raced at Le Mans... i think in 1995 or 96... then there was the other Lister GT1 the one with the carbonfibre chassis and it raced there in 97

I thought there was a problem with too many entries and not enough places to go round. The Lavaggi is apparently debuting at Donington, there was talk of an R10 racing in LMS post Le Mans (although I've heard nothing about this recently and suspect it won't happen). It will need quite a few to drop out to satisfy demand for all these one-off's as far as I can see.
The current Storm GT1 is not ACO legal, although it did race in the mid 90's.

As for entries, the ACO have said the field will be balanced, and as there are fewer P1 entires, Lavaggi, Zytek etc. will be accepted.

There's probably an historic race in addition to the Radical support race.

You mean Chevron B16; the car that put everybody (including all the works Porsches) to shame in the 1969 Nurburgring 1000 km, which also was its very first race. Driver was Brian Redman, who was one of the talented drivers of his day. The Ligier is a JS3 after Jo Schlesser, who fatally crashed in the 1968 French Grand Prix driving Honda's new air-cooled Formula 1 car. Nic and Mike took overall glory in their grid in the JS3 at last week's Le Mans Classic.

Yes, both are very exciting machines!

So...
- Le Mans Series
- Radical World Cup
- Classic Endurance Racing

Looks more promising than this weekends support series. But more series would be better.

Isn't Palmer Audi supposedly supporting a couple of sportscar races this year? They did F3/GT at the weekend, they supported this event at Silverstone last year and it's more excuses for event promotion and Audi banners. I'll have to dig out my brother's entry forms/brochures (he did have some plans to enter the series), it has a calendar of FPA events on it...

I thought a redeeming feature of Silverstone's race last year was the F3/GT package supporting the main event. A great national racing package being shown to some European eyes. In an ideal world I'd love to see some Caterham's in with the support package this year. Great little machines

FPA only has two dates left this season, 1-3 September at Dijon and 15-17 September at Mugello, both rounds supporting the FIA GT Championship.
Like you said TheNewBob last years support package was really good and made up for the awful weather on Saturday for the LMES race. I really liked the format last year which gave us nearly 2 whole days of racing plus racing into the night was good.

cirtek ferrari is actually an aston martin on the lms list
extra PSI corvette on the lms list
no james watts automotive porsche on the lms list

There have to be one car being dropped from the list, because there's a 46 car limit for this round and there's 47 cars on the list.

You missed the Nissan. I did not know it met ACO homologation criteria.

It ran the FIA GT race at Silverstone in GT2 rather than G2, so presume it's legal...?

As far as I know, the schedule is similar to the Nurgurgring race: Practice and Quali on Saturday; race on Sunday.

Admin checks on the Friday.

That's an easy one. Drop Pescarolo and Racing for Holland off the list, unfortunately
