you thinking it starts with a T by any chance?
Don't like the clusterfudge calender ideas: A full international series will be too expensive for most privateers, but a mini euro championship will be seen as second rate. The world series should be 2 races from each regional series & no more frequent than 1 per month. And 8 hours on a test track???? |

I think Paul Richard is trying to get rid of the test-track stigma, they'll actually have quite a lot of races next year and afaik a new grandstand has either already been built or is being built during the off season.

True enough, though this link did include quotes from the team manager and read similarly: http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...ance-2840.html
The bottom line still seems to be that they have not secured the necessary backing, which does seem to be rather critical! |

I think Henri's 'budget' for the development of the new car was a lot bigger than we think and I suspect the split with Sora results from that big unsponsored overspend.

I still remember Jean Christophe Boullion's first stint at Silverstone...
Magic, pure magic. |

I think it's more a case of a big company rich enough to buy this racing team but only interested in the know-how, the facilities and the name, but not in keeping on racing 'cause that's not cost effective (well outside of their sole race at LM where they'll fill the cars with pay drivers and not perform anywhere near the car's potential). In a way, it's as if some big company was buying Brawn F1 and shifting most of their focus away from F1 to build some crappy spec single-seater of for a road car project. But since it's Endurance racing and France, pretty much nobody cares. |

Endurance-Info.com are reporting that the 2 Speedy Racing Team Sebah Lola's will be present at the official Dunlop tyre tests at Estoril on 13/14 November. In addition, an interesting quintet of drivers are due to pilot the P2 (Andrea Belicchi carrying out driving duties in the P1). So, a switch of tyre supplier and changes to the driver line-up for 2010?

Why no Prost and Fassler at the test?
Both of them were so impressive at Silverstone, maybe Prost Jr is going to Pug? his double stint at Silverstone was so good, and he was als really quick in Nurburg. Fassler is one of the mot underrated drivers, should get a factory drive. |

Are they planning an assault on P1 & P2 . I thought their intention was to run 2 LMP1's in 2010 ?
I wanna see Johnny Kane in their P1 car this year . |

In general, however, it's probably too much to read into absences from a tyre test for rubber they may not actually run next year. I'm sure Bellichi was available, and Speedy has a long relationship with him. |

not sure if im the only one feeling this way, but running the LMP1 car on dunlop tyre's doesnt seem to be a good move in my books, Creation and Rollcentre's P1 effort's faltered mainly down to the tyre's in 2008, however. Running the LMP2 car on dunlop's doesn seem like a bad idea at all though, the gap between the P2 dunlop and michelin's is small if anything really.

Dome has been provisionally calculated to quicken for about 3 seconds per one lap(of Sarthe) because the tire is changed from Dunlop to Michelin in 2006.

Well the ACO seem to have liked the ALMS's idea quite a bit. As the FLM is now to be included in the LMS rounds instead of a stand alone. They will not be included at Le Mans though, for now. Here

That rear end looks twisted? I'd ask for a refund!
Nice shots, but more care with ultra wide needed. |
