Eurosports coverage of ALMS Miami
It has just disappered of the sky tv schedule!, it has been advertised as live for three weeks. I have even stopped in tonight to watch it. I am going to send them ANOTHER nasty email.

I saw in the TV magazine Saturday 23.45h CET ALMS.
 But to be sure I looked on the Eurosport website...No ALMS.

I have lost count of the number of times they have done this.Unfortunately womens soccer seems to be more popular than american sportscars in most of Europe if not in the UK-don't think we even qualified.

We do occasionally get LIVE coverage of FIA GT though, and normally 6-8hrs of Le Mans each year. True its not a great situation at all and we could do with a decent TV network taking over like Sky Sports, now I know not everyone has Sky Sports, but myself do and to be honest to me thats what matters, may sound selfish but I mean we each have to look out for ourselves. Still having said that, Eurosport and Sky covering events is better than no coverage at all.
 Now if only Eurosport would invest in a REAL 2nd channel, not a news channel with a small window....

There isnt that much sportscar racing on it, But it does show the following,
DTM live Btcc live NASCAR Busch (sometimes live) V8 Supercars (Bathurst Live) V8 star DTC ASCAR Trans-am Britsh and Australian F3 and alot of other things that I cant remember! I think it is free so it is worth getting |

MotorsTV also showed 3 hrs of highlights of the Goodwood meeting from earlier this month at the weekend. The only problem was that all the highlights seem to have been edited out, I think my 3 year olds could have done it better!
Having said that whenever the missus is out MotorsTV is normally on. there is a website www.motorsTV.com if you want to know more. |

Don't get me started on
Eurosport! Ive lost count of the number of times I've set the old VCR to record Nascar or Cart only to come down the next morning to be confronted by a couple of hours of Pro-Celebrity ass scratching or somr other equally rivetting spectacle They're a bloody shambles and its high time somebody went round there and dished out a right royal slapping to all concerned.
