Disastrous weekend for Starworks... crappy quali due to wrong driver choice, mistakes and reliability problems in race.

Dome's straight line speed seems to be very good [in petrol terms], which of course means good for LM

Chuffed to bits to see the Pescarolo Dome performing so well, for me it was one of the most attractive LMP's back at LM'08 (with the Epsilon Euskadi) and it's still the best looking out there four years later.

Agreed. As much as I am glad the Dome is back, I do miss the *howl* of the Judd V10 it used to have! And what happened to the Epsilon Euskadi in the end?

I assume the #2 is going to have to come back in to repair the headlight. Going to lose a ton of time.

No if Kristensen is allowed to continue running with high beams.

This pit cycle is going to put the #1 miles ahead of the rest of the field.

I'm sure theres someone here that knows the full story but bad results certainly didn't help things, I thought an ee2 was mentioned at one point but unfortunately it never appeared.

I posted that literally as he turned the high beams on. Looks like he is alright now.

I would not jump to conclusion. We never saw why he went off. Maybe he was pushed?

judging by how the car was placed parallel to the barrier and by the fact that the rear bodywork wasn't damaged more than a push it makes think more of a mistake during braking

Sorry to disappoint you but the Dome just got lapped by the #3 Audi. This means that it was already one lap down on the #1 Audi.

Yeah I saw that, #3 is about 10 seconds behind #1 so it must have been lapped 3 laps back or so.

Where the heck did that wheel from the Signatech car end up?

Hopefully it didn't leave the circuit.

That was almost a very nasty shunt through Blanchimont. Still 3hr40 to go- don't throw it away yet! Not surprised Audi have used team orders there

The instructions before the race were very clear. The Audi drivers are allowed to race, without crashing into each other. At least they are not yet engineering a hybrid victory.
