Touring car nirvana
I thought I'd compile an idea running through a lot of threads and ask: what's your ideal, universal touring car formula, now that Super Touring is dead?
I'd go for three-litre engines, as many or as few cylinders as you like (though most would be V6s), rear- and four-wheel drive allowed with weight equalisation, big wheels and wings but a degree of control over said wings, and, of course, NO HATCHBACKS! I'd see a list (by no means comprehensive) of eligible cars being: BMW 3-series Lexus IS Renault Laguna Nissan Primera Audi A4 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Volvo S60 Ford Mondeo Vauxhall/Opel Vectra Honda Accord Alfa Romeo 156 SEAT Cordoba VW Passat Peugeot 406 |
