Easily one of the best meetings of the year for me. Even the Friday last year was magical, with all the headlights reflecting off the very, very wet track - at least it is now I'm looking back at it!!

Really looking forward to it - see you all there.

Campsite will be on the outside of copse.
I have updated the google map of Silverstone to show where it is, along with sign location and the bar.

Is it? Because everyone has been asked to move their caravans as the campsite is being used for other things in September.....

Always thought the camping for this event was Copse runway? Not that it matters to me cos I've gooked a nice room in Northampton for Saturday night!

Its been Copse outside (grand prix e-zone area) for most of the year, but I havent heard for this meeting, apart from that people have been told they cant leave caravans there. I hope its the Runway, I much prefer it there....

All caravans have to be off after the BTCC, because of TRAX the following w/end. Camping for the LMS is back on the outside of Copse.

Not sure, contact Penny at Silverstone. Make sure it's secure though.

Heard or read somewhere that it would be back at Copse Outside.
I have added the Copse Runway or "Ye Olde Marshals Campsite" back onto the google map.

For Copse Outside - follow red
For Copse Runway - follow green

Just be careful turning right at the roundabout after the bridge over the club staright. Sometimes there's a bollard blocking that option... (in which case turn right at the next junction).

I got an email yesterday from Penny regarding sign on times (I don't get tickets being in SMT now) so I would imagine tickets would have been sent out around the same time & should be arriving in the next day or 2.

Anyone seen a long term weather forecast yet?

Doesn't look to bad but as it's ten days away the weather will no doubt change.

You're optimistic. I don't trust tomorrow's weather forecasts, and Silverstone has it's own special weather systems anyway.
