Let's get the cars on track first, then see if there is any need to make amendments so everyone gets a "fair" share. The concern is not warranted yet (but it's not hard to see his point; we have all seen it happen to LMP2). At this stage, all it would do is "force" possible partners to reconsider their entry if they do not get to choose their favourite mouse trap.

Or Felipe could make a move himself. It doesn't look like Honda is shifting from its current position in prototypes.

I'm sure things will be fine. Seeing how things played out last year we shouldn't have much to worry about. LMP2 has had it's own problems, hopefully it won't happen in the top class. Everyone should know what they signed up to and the amount of variety in the top class is a positive sign

We'll see who else joins the series. I will wait to see what Honda does

Exactly. The more customer cars, the better. If they're only Porsches than Zuffenhausen obviously has a better customer business model than the other manufacturers (we all know they already have). It's not like the armada hasn't been beaten before.

The 2023 Le Mans 24h has 16 Hypercar entries: 4 Porsche, 3 Cadillac, 2 Toyota, Peugeot, Ferrari and Glickenhaus, and 1 Vanwall.

There's no BMW or Acura / Honda.

Certainly the costs have got high, I'm not surprised there are quite a few not committed for a full season

If you're not able to go to LeMans, then testing and a partial season is a lot cheaper. Just do the whole thing next year.

Exactly, and you combine that with compatibility with both IMSA and WEC, a BOP you can actually live with, and 5-7 year rules stability, it's a damn good deal.

It's why a number of manufacturers are stepping up...

I have been impressed with the teams openness as they prep this brand new car. And the fact they are looking to get the 2nd chassis testing this summer only bodes well for development.
