It was very stupid to put the restart line before the last turn.

I see two solutions.

One is to copy F1, and forbid any overtaking until the restart line (be it the finish line or earlier). And also copy Nascar, by requiring drivers to keep behind the car in front.

The other is to move the restart line later, and require drivers to keep reasonable gaps (like at the Indy 500 start).
