2004 China G.p. ?

Some months before SARS hit the world scene, I heard rumblings that there would be a China Grand Prix in 2004 near Shanghai ("Zhen Bang!"). Can anybody give me some clues how to volunteer for that one ? Recognising that it's still some time away, this is an on-going request.

As things stand currently, my wife and I will be back working (teaching English)in China next year, so we'd like to get on board. We have a few words of putonghua Mandarin, and - although completely illiterate - we can move around within China somewhat independently.

"Zaijian" !

(At least, this should give those who post messages in French something to think about!)

Mr Tanner will have no doubt have gleaned this information from the chinese counterpart of 10tenths. He speaks many languages you know.

English, Northern(Leeds dialect), Observer-speak, Vox du Flaggie et Anorak and more recently, Clerk-of-courseish....

My gosh you are a cunning linguist Gary

More a tongue in cheek comment ala Silverstone But I will try to speak proper Bristle like being from the aerial. Now where did I park my GT Combine Harvester?

Your best bet is to get in touch with either BMMC Chairman, Peter Roberts or Dave Pierre - I know the latter has done some work with marshals out there in recent times!

By the way, if your combine is the one with a turbocharger, twin exhausts, 5.5J wheels etc etc etc. I saw a couple of kids driving it down the M20 earlier

Because any overseas marshalling should be advised to the MSA. They then contact the local ruling body to confirm your grade etc.

Ahh I understand, I thought you had some inside info that the MSA might be running any potential Chinese GP!
