Epynt Hill Climb - Sunday 17th June

Hi Everyone,

Help!

My name is Martin Williams and I'm part of the organising committee for a new hill climb at Epynt to the west of Brecon. It's taking place on Sunday 17th June. It's our first hill climb and we need some help to marshal the event. I've been to events recently at Loton and Prescott to enlist help and have some willing volunteers and I'm at Shelsley Walsh tomorrow, so hopefully I'll bump into some of you and can answer any questions you have.

We are very keen to make this a successful event but we are looking short of experienced marshals right now so I need to throw out the message as far and wide as I can that WE NEED MORE HELP!

Some info to whet your appetite...
- new hill climb venue!
- 1650m long, the longest in Great Britain
- 130m ascent (430 ft for the old school!)
- minimum of 7 marshals posts, plus start/finish areas so we are looking for 20+ marshals on the day.
- if you live anywhere south of about Manchester than we are easier to get to than Doune !
