F1 Championship Season 2000

Has anyone played EA Sports' update of F1 2000 yet?

If so have the bugs been ironed out...

Eg, the "Sarrazin" bug, the fact that when you select a 2 player mode it gives you different drivers to the ones you picked etc?

Has the difficulty been sorted?

From what I hear they have tweaked the graphics a bit (I've seen shots and I can't see any difference), and apparently introduced things such as getting a tow from the car in front etc... General comments seem to be however that if you owe the naff F1 2000 there is nothing here which makes purchasing F1 Championship Season 2000 worth buying.

I always hoped the Sarrazin bug was because if you won the championship you got the F3000 cars or something, but I traded it in way before finishing it and so never found out.

In all honesty, avoid either incarnation of the game, and also Psygnosis' latest offering which isn't much better - it still contains all the flaws which F1 '99 had.

Wait for the PS2 versions - and pray one of them is any good...

I rented the Psygnosis one and thought it was even worse than the 99 version.

None of the problems had been fixed and I think, if anything, they were worse.

It did have an interesting little quiz before the start of each race, but other than that nothing much had changed.
