dazbaz_99 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Taking the plunge

Hi guys/girls,

I have been into motorsport photography for about a year now and have recently invested in a Digital SLR. I have made a gallery with most of my 'best' shots that were taken last year with a 35mm SLR. I hope u enjoy viewing them. I would gladly accept any criticism, guidance from you pros

My gallery is at http://dcb-images.fotopic.net/

** Mods i hope this isnt against forum rules, if it is by all means remove my thread.

There's some nice shots in there... what kit were you using (& what have you upgraded to?).

My website's in my profile if you're interested.

Thanks. Most of what you see at that moment was taken on a Minolta Dynax 700si with a 70-300mm lense, scanning in the images has meant they lost some clarity. I have now upgraded to the K.Minolta 5D, keeping my original lenses. I hope to improve my shots this year!

What kind of a scanner did you use? For digitizing 35mm photos, a film scanner will give you better results than a flatbed scanner. Unfortunately, film scanners are more expensive, but if you're digitizing lots of film it might be worth it.

Nice shots. I especially like the LMES at Silverstone in the rain.
