Most Likely To Not See Season End

Which of these drivers do you think might not see the season out in their current seat?

Went for Pizza. Jag have tried to ditch him once. I see no reason(other than it might cost them some money) why they wouldn't try again.

Out of these I suspect Firman to be the most in trouble. Allthough he has had some decent races, his qualifyingspeed is awful at times.

Pizzonia will remain in his seat for the remainder of the season. Not on merit, but because Jaguar can't afford to replace him with anyone else. Pizzonia has a contract, so he is entitled to pay, even if Jaguar won't let him near an R4 anymore.

Wilson shouldn't be mentioned. He actually performs quite good. Rookie of the Year will either be Wilson or DaMatta. Both of them have outshined their experienced teammates on occassion.

Wanna pizza me? Sorry.......

Probably Pizza boy..he's a waste of space. Massa, Davidson, Wilson etc would be doing far better in that seat than Pizzonia has managed so far.

Firman too isent that far behind either...Id dump him too if I were his boss..the way he drives in qualifying reminds me of Marques back in Australia 2001...he looks like a chimpanzee behind the wheel..his hands are all over the place.

I wasn't necesarily speaking about being ditched in all instances...in Wilson's case I can see him moving on up..in fact I hope he does.

I voted for Villeneuve. Seriously, watch him quit after another DNF.

You know, IF the guy can secure another seat for next year, why would he bother staying? Except maybe the money, and even then, I'm sure BAR would be more then willing to pay him a reduced rate to sit home.

Agreed on that one, i'll vote when the mods put it in

Pizzonia was the only likely candidate, but now thats blown over i can't see the team replacing him in the remaining half of the season. I read somewhere (proberbly on this forum??) that PDLR was being lined up, but his contract is owned by McLaren as well as Wurz's and i can't see the Mac's letting Jag have him (PDLR) cheaply either.

he's not on the list, but I can see why Jordan sacked Frentzen in 2001. Too many ordinary performances from Harry Heinz this year which is a pity as he is very quick when he turns it on.

I nearly put HHF on the list but thought, even despite it being F1, that nobody would have it in their heart to dump him after his last few years

Gotta agree with you there Eddie. I don't think he'll go before the end of the year but I can't see him being in F1 next year - qualli too bad and too many shunts.
Also when he's interviewed he always seems to have been quite happy with his performance even though he's qualified behind the Minardis!
I t's a shame because I really wanted him to do well and after his long Formula Nippon stint - I thought he could be up there giving it some real stick in the lower end of the points on a lot of occasions.

so whats the Jordan line-up likely to be next year? Is DC's McLaren contract up at the end of 2003? Could EJ's new found friendship/partnership with Ron smooth the way for Fisi to drive for McLaren next season?

SO WHAT'S THE JORDAN LINE UP LIKELY TO BE ?
I reckon Justin Wilson amd Fisichella - I think EJ still like to bring on British drivers and I can't actually see Fisi ever making it to the top top - too much competition.
DC definitely out at McLaren though, surely ?

i think it would be stupid for any team to get rid of a driver at this point in the season, BUT pizzaboys saet is secure apparently.

IMO, Fisichella won't be at Jordan next season. Not sure where he'll go but he said at the beginning of the season that he wouldn't be staying with the team for 2004.

One thing's for sure - if anyone does get booted, Wilson will immediately replace them, as Minardi will relish the money, and Paul loves seeing one of his proteges do well.

Pizzonia should survive now that they kept him on afetr the first flurry of rumours. Firman hasn't been too bad recently, at times he's embarassed Fisichella and lead me to suspect that Giancarlo's lost motivation.
