Fantasy F1 results. Round 1!

Hey everyone,
Here are the standings after round 1. A couple of notes:

1. A small tweak in the constructors points allocation. I forgot to take into account the 'win and points' case (Mclaren in this race). Also forgot to take into account the 'win and DNF' case. These will be worth 9 and 7 points respectively.

2. The way i assigned positions to unclassified drivers is by the order they retired. So Fisi retired first and is 21st. (Not 22nd because of Rubens' DQ)

3. I urge you all to check your scores. If it is wrong in this round then chances are i entered your spreadsheet entry wrongly and that will effect all your future scores.

The star of this race as far as points was Bourdais yielding 15 points. Vettel who was an extremely popular choice yielded a negative score. Kimi yielded 12 points despite being woeful in the race.

First off, it's Vahalla Team EERO, not Vanilla Team EERO......

Could you explicate how points are allocated? I would assume that Heideld's second should have accrued more ponts than the 3 indicated.

Sorry about the spelling, i have no idea why i kept reading your entry as Vanilla.

Let me go over a break down of your scores:
Renault scored 4 points for you. (1 points finish + 1 DNF)
Heidfeld scored 10 points for you. (7 for podium + 3 points for gaining 3 places of the grid.)
Vettel scored -11 points. (0 for not finishing. Also he started in P9 and was given a finishing position of P20 because he was 2nd to retire, so he lost 11 places from his start position and hence a score of -11)

Thus a total of 14-11 = 3

I'm not last! A solid, if unspectacular start for RG Racing. My driver choices (Rosberg and Kovalainen) could turn out to be inspired...not so sure on the Renault though.

So after one round I'm 48 points behind the leader? Nothing like a challenge Anyway, if Nakajima didn't take out Kubica I would have been higher up the standings! Well there's my first excuse of the season, be prepared for numerous others...!

It will even out. The leaders will have their share of bad luck and negative points and you will have a good day where your driver come from 20th to finish 8th or something.

As for exclusion. You can be excluded only in one instance. i.e your points total is greater than mine.

can you check the score for oulton park marshals racing. it is down at 5 but i have it work higher. (i think 19) not sure on the rule for being classiffied for a points finish ie. 7th and 8th but classed as dnf!
