Okay, while Lorna and I have been busy elsewhere on the site, it's been brought to my attention that we're falling behind in our task of Trackside forum hosts

So... we'll start with the big one from last year... the Snett night race. A huge sucess in every way last year, can it be repeated in 2001 ?

Well... I reckon it can!

Sign in here folks if you're planning on going. And if we organise it properly, we can hopefully get to camp altogether this time around too.

When is it? And can you guarantee that it won't be raining and freezing cold this year?

Saturday 4th August

And, no, sadly I can't... it's *always* cold and wet at Snett!

I will be there, and even though I only live 30 miles down the road, Sod the cold - I will be camping this time, too.

If it's anything like last year, I won't want to go home!

Excellent news, sir!

Does this mean we can have our own campfire ? If we do, the challenge is there to beat the one they had just along the field from us last year... no-one there will ever forget that bugger!! Looked like the Great Fire Of London!!

Anyway, in case anyone needed reminding of the great time we had, and was thinking about not bothering this time, it seems an good moment to post this link:

"Don't forget your jam jars!"

Ah, fond memories.

And yes, we will be doing it again this year. Myself and Maisie will be there hopefully with the camper. Let's make it the biggest 10/10ths meet yet

Do you want to be locked up for being an arsonist?

Me, me, me! I'm going! Excellent laugh last year.

And I've got a tent

And I've got a sleeping bag

And I have kept the jam jars and the tea light candles

And I can't wait

There's a huge car show not a million miles away the day after so I'd might as well drop in and check out the much hyped BTCC night race, that's my excuse anyway I could well even be driving by then as things are going so I can escape to the relative safety of a B&B

...and just for luck

Who in their right minds would miss this one? You'd have to be mad (well, you'd have to be mad either way, given that it's Snetterton) not to be there!!

With bells (or gloves) on, me...

If I can get there, Sarah, can I share your tent? (By that time it will be like my second home, right?)

Depending on whether or not they finally decide to cancel the ALMS race at Tremblant - if they do cancel it I will be at Snetterton. Otherwise I have to go to Tremblant to see Josh Beaulieu race Fords before he goes off to Europe to be a star.

Almost forgot my smiley again! Don't want my license to post revoked!

Is Woody coming? What kind of a question is that?! You may as well ask: 'Is Matt Neal gonna be there?'
