It clearly is wrong. The part after the Dunlop Bridge before the Esses is wrong. It's how the track should still look.....

And no kink towards the end of the Mulsanne Straight, -plus only one part of the Ford chicanes.

I think someone got a paper clip and bent it into some weird shape, then thought it looked vaguely like the circuit.

The Renault Alpine is more of an 'Acquired Taste' and therefore not the main reason I'll be visiting the museum on tuesday again, but the exposition about the Bollée family I do want to visit!
