Hi ,
I have some questions about LM24Hs Firstly, tickets. How can I buy tickets? Through the official website? Am I in time (I know for example that in formula1 tickets bought onine are sent with a courier directly at home, and so yo have to buy tickets more than a month before the race)? Can I buy the tickets beofre the race? Then, wich tickets have I to buy? I want to go with some frineds of mine. The idea is to use the camping. We will star from Italy on Friday, 21st of June evening, arriving at the circuit in the morinig of Saturday 22nd June. I know that I need a ticket for the camping, but to see the race which tickets I need? Moreover I see that for arnage, mulsanne and virage curves tjere are "special tickets"... Can someone clarify me this matters? Thank you Bye |

The Mulsanne+Arnage tickets are tickets that grand you entrance to those two enclosures, not the rest of the circuit.
Regular General Entrance tickets will get you in everywhere, also on Mulsanne/Arnage. Which campsite ticket to buy? At the moment the ACO website shows 3 yellow sites left: Beausejour, Pincenardiere, and Dairon, and one red: Expo. The yellow campsites are rather far away from the Village. Expo is closer, but if I remember from another forum, the ground is very hard, so putting up your tent is near impossible without decent tentpegs and a hammer. You can buy the tickets you want now and opt for collecting them. As Le Mans is getting nearer, and at the moment I have some bad experience with sending tickets abroad, I'd recommend collecting them! At the Rotunda/Rotonde that is. You will need: -one campsite ticket for each car, no matter how many occupants -one General Entrance/Admittance ticket for each person Edit: arriving saturday morning will mean it will be extremely busy. Maybe better use the Courier Service. Should be much better than Belgian and British Royal Mail. It's still three weeks+ so they should arrive in time when you buy them at the ACO Billetterie. |

i only buy at the circuit .. always available a bit more tricky would be camping.. but i''m fairly sure you can find a place to raise the tent. |

OK lets get started, firstly you will need a standard ticket (GE) these are available at every gate when you get there there is no limit on numbers, these tickets will get you into the arnarge and mulsanne area's so you do not need those tickets. They cost 72 euro's.
Pit lane tickets are extra but ruddy expensive a couple of hundred i think. Grandstands are free to use on wednesday and Thursday for qualifying but not for the race, they are not essential but cost varying on the stand itself however most of those will be sold out already, personally I don't bother with them but many on here consider them essential. There are loads of different Camping options, although most have already sold out with the ACO at the moment, you can get some direct from the ACO website and pick them up at the rotunda on arrival, they will provide a map by email, however whatever they have left now will still be around when you arrive so best option is to arrive at the rotunda and buy a camping ticket then, as they may have some better campsites available as returns from the agents. There are plenty on e bay at the moment but delivery might be expensive and uncertain this late. There is a good description of the camp site on a internet site called Beermountain.com on this forum you can see where we are all camped on the rollcall, everyone has there prefered site but as always you get what you pay for and the cheapest sites are less popular and that is why they are still available on the ACO web site. Hope this helps, oh and welcome to the forum any more questions please asjk away |

So are the prices on this site accurate?
http://www.24h-lemans.com/en/program...ormations.html Pitwalk € 490 PITWALK + TRIBUNE 34 € 550 That seems pretty ridiculous considering ALMS had paddock access included in the ticket price. |

The public can't go in the pits or on the grid in the hours leading up to the race. But you can do a pitwalk for free and probably see more on the Friday and a normal tribune ticket comes in at under €100. You can also get in the paddock at various times during race week. |

That 490 euro ticket will give you access to the pits at all time during raceweek, not only on the friday. Serious waste of money in my eyes, as there is also the autograph session on tuesday evening in the pits, and the pitwalk on friday.

If you know the right gates and routes, you can have your own pitwalk during the whole week(except when their is track action) for free.
Thats the fun for me to be there early in the week. Teams are practicing pitstops and are working on the car, much more to see then. The free for all Friday pitwalk which is way to busy. |

Hmm, I don't know if it's very smart to tell this on a public forum
![]() Since the bigger Fia/WEC influence it's already more difficult. - Follow the road between Houx and Houx Annexe, it wil get you at the Bugatti circuit which is a Parking at that moment. Just look for an open gate or something, it maybe the end of an graveltrap or behind the wall. This is different from year to year. - Walk to the track between the hospatalities just before the final chicane, most of the time their is an open gate somewehere. - I don't want to destroy the easiest way to enter the pitlane, so i won't tell this at a public forum. If you really want to know, send me a Private Message ![]() In general, the French mentality is like this: It's my job to prevent people passing this gate. If they found another way to come in, I don't care, I did my job. So make use of open gates. If someone is calling you, just be a tourist who don't understand French and don't look back untill they grab your shoulder. If they don't, you're in and nobody is asking for passes or something like that. On the other hand, be a gentleman if they catch you and take your lose, it's part of the "game" ![]() Some pictures from my own pitwalks: http://volgaspics.nl/Seizoen%202011/...ane/index.html http://volgaspics.nl/Seizoen%202012/...ans/index.html |

It sounds strange as in 28 years of visiting the only way into the pit lane I know is the one by the starship enterprise and the one just beneath the new village, both have very strict security, The way you describe seems strange as it is well past the dunlop bridge

![]() The 2 you describe are the only 2 who prevent you from entering pitlane, so you just have to avoid them. ![]() |
