Haven't seen the Pesca Peugeot much this session.
Well, Peugeot gets the pole. Doubt Audi will bother now. Too bad Pesca is out of the top 3 but 4th is still good. |

Is Werner up for it? Pit stops, new tyres, back on track...

TK isn't, he's just driving round at 3m32s well into a long stint.

They did say on RLM while he was pitting that he's done some good qualifying in the ALMS this season. We shall see.
The #3 Audi is a bit behind. Wonder what's up with them. The Petrols are again a bit behind the Peugeots like last year. Surprised the Pesca Judd is not up there. |

It's amusing with all the talk of the regs slowing things. I believe the fastest lap turned by an Audi last year the whole week was a 3:23.8, and they've bested that by a couple of tenths this time.
Are the Peugeots on qualifiers or just race softs? I know that last year they didn't even use the qualifiers, and set that 3:18.5! This is getting to be a long thread; what's the fastest time out of the Lola Astons and the Pescas? |

McNish has just suited up - to practice a pitstop! Now that is impressive. What times is Tom doing - these could be the more important lap times to watch...
EDIT: TK's last lap at the end of a stint was 3m30.540s. While one team celebrates pole in front of the cameras, the other is practicing a pit stop. Driver change good, tyre change good. |

Get some rest mate; it's a long weekend! lol
I was just curious for the comparison with the top petrol cars. I'm really hoping the Lola Astons do well in the race; I love the Gulf livery on those cars! |

Peugeot on pole. Werner improved but not enough to split the Pugs.
This was only 4 hours and we have 24 to go!!!! |

4 Peugeots in top 5. Still the fastest car of the diesels.

Impressive, didn't thought that the Peugeots would still have a speed advantage but they seem to have one.
I´m a little let down by the performance of the two Porsche drivers in the #3. Given their past prototype success, I expected them to do much better. Congrats to Stephane Sarrazin, three-time Le Mans pole winner! |

I just checked our table of prognostications regarding the pole position and 34 of 64 had picked the number 8 to win pole and CTD had predicted Number 8 with a 3:22.8! I would say that was some pretty good prognosticating for the 10-10ths posters. What's even more interesting 35 have picked Audi #1 to win and only 10 picked number 8. Should be fun tomorrow

Hopefully Timo and Romain are on it for the race. Could be the darkhorses.
GT2 looks great. That's gonna be a royal rumble between at least 8 cars. P2, well, there should be a big battle for the RS Spyder scraps, whether it's just a 3rd place or more. There's about 3 or 4 good cars behind those Spyders. The P1 Petrol battle should be interesting. Times in qualifying don't bold well for mixture with the diesels except for Kolles. |
