Drayson twitter: In the end, we had to "abandon" the car on circuit. We did finish the required distance to be classified.

Congrats to Pug for a well run race. Shame about audi, but it's still a new car, and plenty of development left in it, I would think.

Well done Peugeot! Their cars were faster and more reliable as Audi.

What a sight - Audi drivers and Ralph Juttner congratulating Peugeot, really magnanimous.
Top marks to Peugeot today - they beat their demons first of all but even more so they broke the Audi winning streak, which in the recent years has become sportscars holy grail, whatever you say about their past slip ups, beating Audi is no mean feat. |

I must have missed it. When did the vette do a burnout. BTW, Bourdais wasn't doing donuts he was doing "Crescents" as he called them during his champ car years.
I was rooting for the Audis and Astons but Peugeot earned it. Congrats to them. |

The #63 did a burnout across the finish line with the white Alphand car close behind.

Superb one two for Peugeot, fully deserved. I think that early bit of stupidity concentrated a few minds on getting the job done. Very well done to Peugeot indeed. Shame there wasn't a better GT1 battle to see off one of the greatest ever Le Mans cars. I will miss the Corvettes. |

Fitting that they had the chance to clean the car for its retirement pics. GM heritage museum or P&M bound?? |
