REALIST has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Ruined for me by KERS and wildly inconsistent tyres - again.

No worse than many of the other races this year but, oh for a good close race between some evenly matched cars/drivers...........................

Made by KERS and variation in tyre performance for me.

Although there was the OUTRAGEOUS stewards intervention. Someone drives into another car on the straight and they give him a drive-through. Pathetic.

Some fun racing. Webbers speed, Buttons battling and great to see Webber win one.

9, Webber's drive made the day, penalty harsh, maybe but it was a bit dodgy.

10/10 for me with Mark but taking nationality bias out of it i give it an 8, few nice battles and Mark was flying after the BS drive-thru.

7 simply because there was a new winner and he won with a drive through. It was Mark's weekend.

On the flip side, Alonso was running 1.5 seconds faster than the Brawn's...until he caught up. That ruins everything for me. No point in even hoping for someone to pass or more or less getting a little bit excited.

Bring on Ari to consult with the teams, the fans and change the rules!

The 2010 aero regs are actually the 'teams' own work. But yes,why not Ari ?

I'm not too sure that consulting with the 'fans' about how they would make overtaking easier would be a particularly good idea!

As usual, quicker cars not being able to overtake slow ones. No racing as a result. The cars simply cannot even run close, let alone try an overtaking move. If F1 is serious about having good racing, they need to do more work on the aero. Whatever aero the GP2 cars are running, F1 cars need to use this because these guys have no problems following each other through corners and overtaking each other - bizarre considering they're all the same so it should be difficult.

I've given a 7. I'm usually mixing between two options (i.e. where to go from an n.5), but a straight 7 I'd say.

9 (based on the last couple of years) drama, quality driving down the field by some and a new deserving winner. Plus maybe the reawaking of McLaren...

7 for me.
Very good race and quali was quite exciting.
There were many high notes. But overall it was a waiting game to see how the pit stop strategies panned out.

Well, I just watched the Indy Toronto race yesterday and it blew away German GP hands down. It was like watching a demolition derby on the streets of Monaco.
In comparison, the German GP rates very low. BTW it was awesome seeing Danica Patrick work her way up to 6th from the back of the field.

Better than average GP faire, but then most of the races are just that, average.

Webber's utterly dominant drive was a superb way to win his first GP.

Button was top value, Jense you can actually race can't you?!!!! and then Alonso's acrobatics in the Briatore later on.

Not bad, not bad.

Ok race, nothing more.
Could have been so much better if Kovalainen and Massa hadn't been holding up potential challengers. RB was 2 sec/lap faster once 'released'; and these cars are allegedly better at overtaking? hmmm.

imo it was a classic for sure. not only Webber's first win but in dramatic style after over coming a drive through...how often does that happen? it was an impressive drive.

unfortunately that also brought a high score down considerably. in fairness maybe Alonso felt there was no point in risking a confrontation with Barri (and considering the mood Barri was in at the end of the race it probably was a good choice to stay away and not risk a collision), but in the end its still the same old problem.

gave it a 7
