DSC are reporting that the first of the Rollcentre Radical's was being tested on Multimatic's suspension rig last week. Of more interest were the names on the side of the car. Short/Barff/Barbosa!

Infoscourse.org reports that the Oreca Saleen will not be at Istanbul and will now debut at Spa. The car will then compete at all subsequent LMS races with the possibility of an entry at Petit Le Mans.

That is one nice looking livery . There apears to be a stylised kangaroo over the rear wheel arch ..... any ideas ? And the french flag across the windos .... very nice indeed . Nice driver line up too .
Anybody know what Larbres plans are with their 550 ? |

In the first LMS Newsletter it seems there is some clarification as to how the ACO will address the problem of more applications than entries at certain rounds.
47 full season entries have been received. Only 42 will be granted. Places will be awarded on a race by race basis to bring the numbers up to the maximum allowed at any given circuit, or to an absolute maximum of 50 cars. Numerical equality between the classes and variety of marques will be preserved. Racing for Holland and Horag Racing have been accepted for Istanbul. The additional cars granted entry for Spa will be announced on 13th April. All clear now......... |

cant wait to see how RFH are going to fare with the new dome mugen this year, also i really want to know how those new courage's are going to fare as last year the courage C60 judd hybrid was the fasest car at the test weekend but i think most eyes are going to be on the new zytek and creation prototype's if they turn up so this year is going to be a very interesting year in the LMES but rock on RFH because i have a feeling they are going to do very well this year

Pictures of the Kruse Courage rollout: http://www.projectlemans.de/content/view/1828/53/
Very nice livery; a big improvement over the old black plain job. Frank Diefenbacher at the wheel. He could become the 3th driver (Jens Petersen and Jan-Dirk Lüders have been confirmed). I also see Kumho stickers on the car. So this will be the second Courage running on Kumho rubber (like Miracle). |

Pierre Bruneau successfully replace the JPX engine in his Pilbeam with a Judd. The drivers lineup will be clarified after the Paul Ricard test.

Hello
Having just read the first LMS newsletter its interesting to note that there are two entries each from Creation Autosportif and Courage Competition in LMP1 and Paul Belmondo and Rollcentre Racing in LMP2 BUT last years LMP1 champions Pescarolo will again run only one car. It obviously works for them but generally, looking back over the history of motor racing, top teams tend to run a two car team. Obviously at Le Mans there will be two cars but I wonder why they don't do the same for the entire series. It costs more of course but theres more chance of winning, more feedback etc. The GT1 class is looking a heck of a lot more interesting than last year and should prove very competitive. This weekend is the test session (would be nice to have a race there) and two weeks to the first race. Pray for sun this year. Nick |

OOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!, the black beauty is gone!, i loved the black paint job on the kruse motorsport courage C65 judd but atleast it isnt a disgusting paintjob, infact it very much reminds me of the team GBR paintjob of the A1 GP car so it is a nice paintjob but in my opinion its not as nice as the old 2005 kruse paintjob

mmmm intresting colour scheme...looks a bit Need for Speed underground rather than a racing team livery...oh well it gives some different colours on the grid..

I actually do like that colour scheme. I thought the plain blue car they were using at Paul Ricard was particularly nice, too.
As for Kruse - is it just me or is that going to be easy to confuse with last year's RML colours...? |

Will Oreca start their LMS attack in Spa instead of Istanbul?
Oreca Saleen and Horag Lola are not on the entry list of Istanbul anymore. |
