why doing up cars is great fun building a motor putting it in starting it for the first time and when the cars finnished looking at it and admireing it ask most guys on here and i reckon they will say doing up an old car is great fun (it is only a weekend thing as that is the only time we have in our hands to do it, so i wouldn't say i have to much time on my hands).
is that what you are getting at or something different? |

Todd to SBR is looking even more likely after Winton and Todds resaults of late havn't put him in the good books with TW and after Winton he isn't in daddy's good books either, look for Lee Holdsworth to replace him, and also look for a third car at NLR for Marcus Marshall, replacing Lee Holdsworth at GRM could be Steve Owen with D'ALberto taking his AutoBarn seat, and i mentioned it before about GMC at Tasman fulltime in 2008 heard today that that deal is almost done but am insure of that.

Todd at SBR? Now you're just crazy. One bad round doesn't mean everyone within your team hates you... Tony D'Alberto won't leave his own team to go to AutoBarn, the only way he could race in the main series at the moment is if he buys franchise #32... There is little or no way that Marshall will be in a third car for No Limit Racing, I'd say Dumbrell is likely to get the flick (or possibly join daddy at Autobarn?)... And Lee Holdsworth? He's quite happy with his VZ at GRM.
That's my take of things, don't quote me on it. |

D'Alberto will still keep his team in the Fujitsu series and will put a driver in his seat and instead of having a chassis deal with PMM the RNR team will have it with TW through D'Alberto but it will still be prepared by the same people (forget the company name) aparently the enduro drive for this year is a trial for 08. franchise #32 is likely to be snaped up by NLR with Marcus in the car. Dumbrell is most likely staying (and will definatly not be at RNR) if anyone is leaving it is McConky but also unlikely unless he gets the SBR drive or if Todd Goes to SBR McConky could be his HRT replacement, but if McConky left NLR franchise 32 most likely not be snapped up by them so it depends on McConky and his desisions IMO. Lee is happy at GRM but if the HRT drive came up i'm sure Lee wouldn't hold back in signing. and if Lee does leave GRM Owen would be a good fit, they got Dean's career back on track and could do the same for Steve. sorry had to quote you. of coarse i could be wrong, but these are the whispers i'm hearing. I don't think Todd will go to SBR but i'm not sure of it. If he did go would he be No. 1. I doubt it with Courtney there.
As for Holdsworth i think he is a real talent but the new VE will see how he goes. Might be a bit early yet to have him in the HRT seat. What i am really trying to say is that i don't think any of your possibles will happen next year, if at all. |

There's too much drugs in schools. Either that, or you need to drink more water. Other Sydneysiders aren't that out there.
Good on ya for trying, but just remember limbs are frail, especially when you go out on them |

If TEGA reclaims the TKR franchise (presuming they do go under), there'd probably be a chance that they'd stick with an even number of 30 cars (getting closer to the 28 thrown around early last year), rather than having to flog off another licence to reach 32.....

Not the case at all. To make the series balanced, you need either 14 Fords and 14 Holdens, or 16 Ford and 16 Holdens - the potential for 14 and 16 2-car teams respectively.
Of course, if there was a 3rd manufacturer then 30 cars works - 10 per manufacturer and 5 2-car teams per manufacturer. |

Reading enews it could go to Jim Morton's Ford Riding Star team.
They are looking to get in and already have a relationship with FPR. They could step right in where TKR have left ? |

well TKR will be there acording to Mr John's statment in eNews that they have a car lined up if they arn't there it will be a development series car so either way #021 will be on the grid whether it's TKR/Rat or someone else is to be decided, but the Rat in eNews has said he is still heading to the creek.
maybe if Brighty is finished with the BJR chassis they could lease that one. |
